Let's go through these one by one.

All electric based cars will be using a battery or fuel cell. Batteries will always be part of these cars for the forseable future.

Solar does not currently allow for the build of a real auto and will not for the near or mid term future.

Electric uses the above two systems.

Hybrid is a gas motor that charges the batteries. Currently similar size gas driven cars get lose to the same gas mileage levels. Hybrids do better in the city driving though.

Geothermal is not a possibility.
