Alcohol is a drug, just like any other drug. It just happens to be legal. Since it is legal, it is easy to get and more people use it. Therefore it causes far more harm than other drugs. In one-on-one comparison, however, they're mostly all bad -- although some people would argue that cannabis is less harmful than other drugs.
