There is no coastal city that has the same latitude as Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville is located at approximately 36 degrees North latitude and is landlocked, meaning it is not situated along a coastline.
There's a HUGE number of cities that aren't at the same latitude
The latitude in downtown Memphis is about 35.14°N. The only parts of Europe crossed by that same parallel are the islands of Crete and Cyprus, which are parts of Greece, or maybe possibly perhaps part of Turkey in the case of Cyprus. The only relevant city is Lefkosia, on Cyprus. But if Cyprus is maybe perhaps a part of Turkey, then there are no cities that qualify, since Turkey is in Asia.

You probably mean Memphis, though there may also be a Cairo in Tennessee. Of course, historically, the Egyptian cities were established thousands of years before the American cities.
Memphis like any large citys have the same problem, too much light in the city. Drive out to one of the parks in west Tennessee (like Fort Pillow) where there is less light.

Memphis, by a long shot - both in terms of area (324 square miles vs. slightly less than 22.5 square miles for Champaign) and in population (670,132 in 2012 vs. an estimated 82,517 for Champaign in the same year).
