i know theres 5 wires that go to the mass iat connector, i think they are yellow, black, tan, black with a white strip and a red on. im perty sure the black onje with the white strip is your grn and your tan wire would be your iat wire.

The intake air temperature sensor on a 2004 Silverado is located in the 5 wire MAF sensor coming from the air fiter box. It can be relocated by cutting and splicing the tan and black wires going to the MAF sensor.

The Intake Air Temp or the IAT sensor is integrated into the Mass Air Flow sensor. The wires for it are low reference which is colored black and sensor signal which is colored tan.
1/2 way down the snorkle of the air intake tube....There is a gang of wires there....It's 2 of those....

The IAT sensor plug-in is located on top of the air intake right where the air filter is located. I am still trying to find out which color wires are the IAT sensor since the plug-in has 5 wires. If someone has a shop manual and can identify the right two wires, we will have this one licked. a and b are the iat sensor wires which are tan wires
The 95 models did not use or have a crank sensor. If you are not getting any fire at the plug wires, then you probley need to replace the ignition module that is inside of the distributor.
