Photosynthesis reduces atmospheric carbon dioxide by using it as a reactant in a chemical reaction to create stored energy in autotrophic organisms. This is part of the reason environmental activists are trying to prevent forests being cut down - the forests can help mitigate some of the effects of increased atmospheric carbon dioxide and put a slightly brake on global warming.
Answer #1:into the atmosphere===================Answer #2:"We" don't "put" it anywhere. Several schemes for capturing and storing it havebeen proposed, but none implemented. So far, any attempts to limit the presenceof excessive carbon have been limited to trying to reduce production of it. Soin that sense, Answer #1 above reflects a kind of grotesque accuracy after all ...we dump it, and it goes where it will.
The industrial release of greenhouse gases (e.g. carbon dioxide, methane) has been linked to the retention of heat in the atmosphere, known as "global warming." By reducing the amount released, they hope to reduce the detrimental long-term effects of this heating, including higher sea levels, increased storm activity, and altered precipitation patterns.
no idea bro, trying to find the answer for environmentla test
Carbon monoxide is produced when you are trying to produce Carbon dioxide but have too little Oxygen. Basically (Quite an un-scientific explanation) burning with too little air or oxygen. The formation also has to do with a double covalent bond.
because it upsets environmentalists and they want to appear like they care about the planet, this may also make people want to buy their cars because they think the company is trying to help the planet. Many countries have passed laws to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, like the carbon dioxide released when petrol is burnt. Cars have to reduce their emissions or they can not be sold.
roughly about 10 tonnes...my households is 3 tonnes and were trying to improve that
I think the reason for this is to reduce the earth's carbon footprint.A:Yes, most electricity is generated by burning fossils fuels, mainly coal. This releases a lot of extra carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, into the atmosphere where it is gradually building up, absorbing the sun's heat, and warming the planet, too much. So if we all use a bit less electricity it will reduce the carbon footprint of our country. All countries are in a kind of race to reduce their carbon emissions. They don't all want to take hard steps, but if people reduce by themselves the governments will be happy (a bit!).
Drive an SUV; leave the lights burning in every room all night; hold the fridge door open for ten minutes every hour; run the air conditioning with wndows open. BUT.... ummmmm.. Why would you want to INCREASE your carbon foorprint when soooo many others are desperately trying to DECREASE the overall carbon footprint of humanity? We all have a fairly small footprint, this is a hype issue. Having said that, there is absolutely no reasonable reason to not want as small a carbon footprint (or any pollutant footprint) as possible. What you want to be careful of though is that you don't shrink your carbon foot print at the cost of a much larger real pollution foot print. High efficiency bulbs are a great example. They do decrease the power consumption at the terrible cost of Mercury mining, florescence being used and a far larger real pollution foot print. They sure feel good though.
yes they have started trying a lot and have also started caring for it. they are also trying to reduce their carbon foot prints by many suitable ways
Many governments, particularly in the European Union, are trying to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide produced by burning fossil fuels in order to slow global warming and cliimate change. Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas, and increases in atmospheric greenhouse gases contribute to rapid increases in average global temperatures.
Modern technology has changed the way many companies do business. Video and Web Conferencing for instance has helped companies remove geographical barriers and given them the opportunity to reach out to employees and clients throughout the world. In today's economy it has helped companies reduce the cost of travel allowing them to meet as often as they would like without having to worry about finding the budget for it. Modern technology helps companies reduce their carbon footprint and become green, due to the fact that almost anything can be done from a computer.
Are you trying to get the footprint of bigfoot?!?
Carbon dioxide is causing global warming and climate change. Countries are trying to reduce their emissions of this greenhouse gas. We measure CO2 levels to see if our preventative measures are having any effect.

The utilitmate goal of these companies is to reduce your debt. The reason why these companies are increasing is because of the economy. I am sure a lot of people are in debt and they are trying to help these people. I wouldn't trust the new ones. If you are looking at one of these companies to settle your debt, try a company that has been around a long time.
I am trying to reduce the number of unanswered questions in this category. Now that I finally recognize that I am overweight, it is important to reduce my caloric intake. How can I reduce my capital outflow?
