Materials which have a low to zero moisture content, where the individual particles do not bond and material will flow at a relatively low angle due to the low particle friction.
It is an additional layer to prevent wind and moisture infiltration. Lately, you see more and more new construction is shifting towards using Tyvek(R) Housewrap.
for example what if as your the tires on your car got hot they expanded and if the get to hot popped. same as in construction, most bulding materials wood, metal, glass all expand or contract based on temp, air pressure , and moisture content - and if you wqant to build a building that didnt whistle or fall down when the wind blew you would very much pay attention to your materialsand how they interact with the environment.
Bulking of sand means increase in it's volume due to presence of surface moisture . The volume increases with increase in moisture content . The volume may increase up to 20 to 40% when moisture content is 5 to 10 %.Due to moisture in each particle of sand, sand gets a coating of water due to surface tension which keeps the particles apart. This causes an increment in volume of sand known as Bulking.- Edited by KASEE SREENIVAS# Hindustan Construction Company
You are probably referring to moisture ingress. Moisture ingress into underground electrical cables, particularly high-voltage cables, can act to break down the insulating properties of that cable, and lead to a short circuit. Accordingly, underground cables incorporate a sheath (lead in older cables), which is impervious to moisture ingress, which surrounds the cable cores, and is located beneath the outer armouring. But moisture ingress can occur with all types of electrical equipment, and the manufacturers take steps to prevent this from happening.

Protimeters measure the humidity, moisture, and temperature in environments and materials. Protimeters are commonly used in the following jobs: flood repair, construction, agriculture, limber, civil engineering.
As with any electrical equipment Macs and moisture should not be combined.
A bacteria needs food,moisture,warm,time to grow up !! :)
Bacteria need moisture, nutrients and warmth
