I can find no reference to the family name Cis, not in any English speaking countries. I suspect that it is a misspelling or abbreviation of a name such as Cecilia. On the Mormon Family History search site the name does come up as Cis but is then referred to a name which it could represent. From over 500 million names you would have thought that the name Cis would be found, but I am sorry, no.
