In order of men involved on 6 th June, Britain, USA, Canada, France (including Maquis), Australia, New Zealand ( mostly aircrew ) , Norway, Poland, (mostly navy ships), Czeckoslovakia (mostly aircrew) . In the following few weeks, units of Belgian, Dutch and Polish armies followed up in the Normandy campaign.
