From what I've seen, all credit card companies charge late fees. However, it's important that the card holder makes sure that the fee actually is something that they owe. The Credit CARD Act of 2009 helps clarify this. If you're charged a late fee, look at this to make sure the card company has a right to impose the fee.
No. The secondary cardholder's credit history has nothing to do with the primary cardholder's. The reason for this is even if there are two cards, there is still only one account for both cards which the primary cardholder is responsible. Jags
I do not know of any specific law stating this. However, I have seen it stated in most merchant agreements something to that effect. It's probably in the cardholder agreements as well. I think the main reason is to prevent the cardholder from circumventing doing a cash advance and avoiding the associated fees that the bank imposes on cash advances. In my experience, though. I have returned an item to a store, which I had lost the receipt, and they issued me a store 'gift card' for that value.
A credit card is a payment card. It allows the cardholder to pay for goods and services based on the holders promise to pay for them. The cardholder submits their card for payment, the card is accepted digitally for payment and the transaction is completed. The customer leaves with goods or services and then the credit card issuer will process the payment and forward a statement usually once a month to the cardholder.

I'm not sure they would, but credit card companies charge a variety of other fees including late payment fees, over limit fees, service charges, etc. etc. Also, most consumers don't realize that credit card companies charge the merchant a fee of 3% to 9% for the transaction, in addition to charging the cardholder interest.
Most credit cards have a cardholder services. It is for the card holders to get their questions and problems with the card solved. There is a Card Holder Services website that is used for the Best Buy Mastercard.
