burning coal to create steam in power plants
"Free fuel" They both utilize solar energy.
tidal energy is inexhaustible because we cannot use up all of the ocean. tides will still go in and out
Electricity is a secondary power source. It depends on what is used to generate it. Wind, water or solar are all renewable or use little or nothing after the original manufacture of the component's.
If humans continue to use nonrenewable sources of energy, they will eventually run out of them. This means that eventually renewable energy sources will be the only energy source.
No. Tornadoes are too rare and too hard to predict for us to use them as an energy source.
Any alternative energy source can help achieve this. The question is whether you can find a practical way to use such energy.
Yes even though it is slowly created it isn't fast enough for easy use.
"Free fuel" They both utilize solar energy.
nonrenewable energy sources are easier to use as their technologies are well established since thousands of years. Also, they are more reliable energy sources.
For all intents and purpose Solar energy is a renewable resource. It is there for us to harvest and its use by us wil not diminish the supply.

Depends on where it came from. If this is mined coal( which it usually is) it's nonrenewable. If it is coal made from dead wood, this is renewable. We can always grow more trees.
Look at homes in Iceland, they are not dependent on nonrenewable sources. Iceland uses geothermal energy and hydropower for its main source of power. It is possible to build a home that is only dependent on renewable energy source however you must take into account the location of the home as certain renewable energies will be in abundance in some locations whilst in other that will not be the case.
Renewable source of energy means that this source is not exhaustible by its use in producing electricity or heat (steam) or mechanical energy. An example is solar energy. Using sunlight to produce electricity through special devices, called photoelectric cells, will not exhaust sunlight coming to earth. Fossil fuels like oil, gas, and coal are examples of nonrenewable sources of energy as they are exhausted by their use.
It would technically be a nonrenewable resource, because the elements we use (uranium) will eventually run out.
They use a renewable source of energy. Most are constructed using non renewable resources.
