We do not know for certain that any disciple was 'wealthy'.

We know that Simon (Peter) and his brother Andrew were fishermen, and James and John were sons of Zebedee who was also a fisherman, so these certainly weren't wealthy.

We know that Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus, was the 'treasurer' for the disciples, but any money he had was the disciples' collectively and not his alone.

Simon the Zealot was a political activist - but that does not make him wealthy.

Matthew was a tax collector, and, while we know that before meeting Jesus he was a dishonest man taking more tax than he should and pocketing the difference, nowhere in scripture does it even hint that he was wealthy or anywhere near wealthy.

Paul - though not one of the '12' also ranks as an apostle, and he was, by trade, a tent maker. He was also a Pharisee in the Temple and a Roman citizen by birthright as well as being a Jew. But this does not mean to say he was wealthy. In fact, judging by the way he wrote to the Churches across the Roman Empire, he was anything but wealthy.

As for the rest of the 12 disciples, we are told absolutely nothing about their occupations or financial circumstances.

The Disciples were not wealthy men but most were self employed businessmen. Peter, Andrew and James were fisherman and owned boats, nets and hired helpers. Matthew was a tax collector and his job gave him a percentage of the taxes collected, as a result he may have been the wealthiest disciple, he gave it up when he followed Jesus. They were literate (there are reverences in the Bible of them reading scripture) and could write and keep accounts. and all have skills that supported them and their families. The Apostle Paul was a tent maker.
