Some dog breeds that shed very little are:
Most of the wire haired breeds, such as the Border Terrier and the Airedale Terrier
Australian Terrier
Cairn Terrier
Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier
Irish Water Spaniel
Wirehaired Fox Terrier
Italian Greyhound
Lhasa Apso

There is no such thing as a totally non-shedding dog. All dogs shed at least some fur. There are, however dogs that shed very little hair. The Cockapoo is known to shed very little.
Cats and dogs both shed, but the amount can vary depending on the breed. Some cat breeds shed more than some dog breeds, while others shed less. Overall, cats tend to shed less than dogs, but it ultimately depends on the individual animal.
