well, the fastest (but also most expensive) way to train range is to use red chinchoppas in a multicombat area. the chin hits lots of enemies at a time so it will get lots of xp. (for this to work well, you have to have a lot of monsters in a big group and it really helps to have a higher range lvl.) another good methodis using knives against monsters. if you switch your attack mode to "rapid", they hit very fast and get xp very quickly
