Because seasoning is used in sparing amounts it is typically not catagorized,but just because they're not catagorized doesn't mean they can be used in large amounts.Most all purpose seasonings are completely filled of msg(mono sodium glutimate) and sodium(common table salt).
Spices don't have a food group, because they are not one whole food its just a garnish that make other food taste better
Chili peppers belong in the vegetable food group.
Snails, or escargot, belong in the protein food group.
Pasta does not belong to the meat and beans food group. Pasta belongs in the grain food group.
