cytoplasm is found in both eukaryotes and prokaryotes.

Describe the functions of two cell organelles shared by prokaryotes and eukaryotes?

They both share ribosomes and a membrane. The ribosomes makes protein while the membrane selectively choices what comes and goes from the cell.

What does eukaryotes and prokaryotes both contain?

They both do have cell membranes, genetic material, and molecules such as ribosomes, vacuoles in common. Prokaryotes are ancient living forms lacking developed cellular organelles. Eukaryotes have organelles nucleus, ER, mitochondria, Golgi for distinct functions.

What is the difference part between prokaryotes and eukaryotes?

Prokaryotes are much simpler than eukaryotes. They don't have a nucleus or membrane-bound organelles. Both have DNA, but prokaryotic DNA sort of floats around in strips whereas eukaryotic DNA is contained in the nucleus.

What structures are used for motility in both eukaryotes and prokaryotes?

prokaryotes use flagella-eukaryotes use flagella and cilia

Orly eukaryotes have membrane bound organelles.

The answer is this...... Prokartotic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How are prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells different?

The main difference is that eukaryotes have membrane bound organelles and prokaryotes do not have membrane bound organelles. Prokaryotes are usually way smaller than eukaryotic cells too.

Are both animal cells and plant cells prokaryotic?

Prokaryotes are a type of cell. not any organelle in a cell. Eukaryotes include the animal and plant cells. prokaryotes are cells like bacteria that do not have membrane bound organelles.

Do animal and plant cells both have mitochondia?

Yes. Mitochondria are membrane-bound organelles. Animal and plant cells are eukaryotes (that is, they contain membrane bound organelles). Only prokaryotes (which are mostly bacteria and don't contain membrane bound organelles) don't have mitochondria.
