look in the fuse panel , usually under the dash on the drivers side, On the door there is a diagram showing what fuse is in which slot of the fuse panel.
Look for one that says C/lighter or cig lighter or something along those lines, pull the fuse , if its blown replace it.
it is possible, but unlikely the fuse is under the hood . If you are unable to find it in the fuse box in the car, look for a bigger fuse box under the hood, follow the same procedure to replace the fuse. ALWAYS USE THE SAME AMP FUSE WHEN CHANGING THEM THIS IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR SAFETY.
