On a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer :
In the passenger compartment fuse panel ( located under the dash on the drivers side )
( # 24 is a 15 amp mini fuse for the cigar lighter / OBD II
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the engine compartment ( the Power Distribution Box , which is " live " , located near the brake fluid reservoir )
( # 7 is a 20 amp maxi cartridge fuse for the # 2 power point )
( also the # 9 fuse is for the # 1 power point )
