∙ 15y agoGlucagon is a hormone that works in conjunction with insulin. Both are produced in the pancreas, and are responsible for the storage/conversion of glucose in the body. Glucagon in particular encourages the soluble sugar glycogen to enter the blood, and also causes the conversion of glycogen to glucose.
