Main goal is to spread the gospel. Jesus told His disciples to 'go into all the world and make disciples'. For a person to become a disciple of Jesus Christ they must first respond positively to the gospel.
The single story told about Jesus between his birth and adult ministry is the account of his presentation in the temple at age twelve, where he converses with the teachers and demonstrates remarkable understanding. This episode is found in the Gospel of Luke (Luke 2:41-52). This story highlights Jesus' early wisdom and his awareness of his divine mission.

As there were always people gathered to listen to Jesus speak, the story is told to the people.

Our Lord Jesus Commissioned His Apostles to preach the Gospel. He Told them to go out & preach to all the Nations & Baptize then in the Name Of the Father, and Of the Son, and Of the Holy Spirit.
