Flora MacDonald
Isle of Skye Straight after the battle he went on a long journey. He headed first for Invergarry castle then onto Loch Lochy, Loch Arkaig and Achnacarry. From there he went to Kinloch Arkaig, out to Morar and onto Borradale where he set sail for Benbecula. From Benbecula he went to Skye. He departed the winged isle from Elgol and arrived back on the mainland at Mallaig and headed for Poolewe via Sheil Bridge. Then it was down to Glenmoriston to Invercannich, Glen Roy, Achnacarry and back to Borrodale where he set sail for France.

Jay Asher has a unique and complex writing style in which he mixes his plot around. The resolution and every other event in the plot could be debated. What I believe to be the resolution is after Clay mailed out the tapes and he walks in to school and sees Skye. He reaches out to her potentially saving her life stating that Skye is walking down the same hall he last saw Hannah slip away. It's too late to save Hannah but he can still save Skye.
