Pressing Home will move your insertion point to the beginning of the current line.
The insertion point is directly after the last character you inserted.

The simplest ws to move your insertion point to the beginning and end of a text line is just to click there. To move your insertion point to the beginning of a document, press ctrl+home, and to move it to the end of a document, press ctrl+end on your keyboard.
If you are within the formula bar, the Home key takes you to the beginning of the data in that cell.
Most characters can be erased by pressing the backspace key or the Del key, depending on where your cursor insertion point is located.
Shift + F5
The backspace key will delete characters as it moves the insertion point four spaces to the left. The left-arrow key will move the insertion point to the left four spaces without changing any of the characters in the line.
