the hard drive works by sticking gum inside of it
Only if you have a hard drive. Otherwise they will not work without a hard drive.
The PlayStation 3 is not designed to work without a hard drive. When the hard drive is worn out after many rewrites, the PlayStation 3 will no longer function and the hard drive should be replaced.
You get another memory storage device, such as an external hard drive, and you copy everything on your hard drive onto the external hard drive, and keep it safe. That way, if your hard drive crashes, then you can take it out, and plug your external hard drive in, and work from that.
I think so but it might not work as well because of the scratches's.
The system will not be able to communicate with that hard drive.
If you have a hard drive. If you do not have a hard drive in your 360 it will not workAll Xbox games will work on a 360 that has a hard drive (elite and pro come with hard drive). Arcade version owners need to buy a hard drive first
without a hard drive your PC wouldn't work at all. so you must have a hard drive, whether its internal or external...
Well it depends what format it is :P if it's PAL it wont work with a NTSC HDD:P
Yes. Flash drives work just as well in reading memory as a CD or your hard drive. Plus, flash drives have a tendency to read faster than hard drives, so it may load faster.
If you can still your hard drive and there is no information on while you know that it was before than it was wiped. If hard drive does not work and malfunctioning it means that it is failing or has failed.
Think of an external hard drive like a normal hard drive working outside your computer, they work very much in the same way. Normally (unless you are using a SCSI, PATA, or eSATA hard drive), they can be connected to your computer via a Firewire or USB connection. If you have a key-drive (aka USB memory stick), they work like a miniature external hard drive in the sense that they store date in an external format; an external hard drive is just like a large key-drive. With both a key-drive and an external hard drive, you simply connect it to your computer, and access its files. When you want to access your internal hard drive, you go to My Computer and then select the C: drive; The external hard drive is a similar process, you select it's icon (located either on the desktop or My Computer) and then you can access its files like a normal hard drive. You can drag files out of it onto your desktop, or alternatively, drag files into it to transfer files from your computer.
