Y3s fir3fight3r because it is a better and a little bit safer than a cop aspecially using guns having a battle with gang members risking your life. Im not saying your not risking your life as a firefighter but...

∙ 11y agoThe work of the Police is to protect and serve and uphold the laws of the country being Policed. Whilst the work of the Fire service is to extinguish fire, and rescue people trapped in a variety of situations for example car crashes.
Therefore the work of the 2 services differ completely in some cases, however some of the work is the same such as the basis of providing a public service.

Cops spend most of their time out on the street working to enforce the law.
Firefighters spend most of their time practicing to save people and put out fires.
