I think the most popular e-book reader is the Kindle. I have heard from others that the kindle is better than any other tablet because you can still see the words without a glare in the sun when reading outside. And you have all the benefits of a tablet.
It looks like the Kindle Fire is the most flexible option. The Nook Book from Barnes and Nobel is better just for reading. If you want to listen to music and do other things the Kindle Fire is the better choice.
The Kindle DX has a larger screen than the Kindle (9,7" as opposed to only 6" for the normal Kindle) and is much better suited for reading PDF files, textbooks, newspapers etc.
Depends, what do you plan to do with it? If you want a cheaper price, go with the Kindle. If you like Apple then use itouch. More games on itouch, but smaller screen. Kindle better for reading and possibly watching videos.
To be honest, I have had iPad, Kindle, Nook, and PS Vita. However the difference between the Kindle and Vita is that the Kindle is alot better than a Nook or iPad. But keep in mind that a Kindle is a reading device and a PS Vita is for gaming. But still I have the Vita and it's the next best thing to X-box 360 and a PS3. If you want a good quality reading device. I recomend the Kindle Fire. But if you are a X-box or PS3 gamer you are going to love the PS Vita even more.
Yes, but by a little. They can basically do the same things but ipod touch has more apps and features. The kindle is a bit bigger but is more meant for reading, though it can have music and apps. Overall, i think ipod touch is better, and more portable than the kindle. Note: Referring to a kindle fire.
If you want a really lightweight tablet for reading books, get the Kindle Fire. If you want to play games, do email and a lot of web browsing, get the iPad.
Yes I can read a pdf on Kindle.1. If the pdf file are just files or document, I can read it directly just by transfering it to my Kindle.2. But if the pdf file is PDF eBook, maybe we have to convert the pdf to Kindle mobi format because Kindle doesn't support the common pdf format eBook.See related link.
Kindle books are books with .MOBI format. This format is similar to Epub, pdf etc. This is specific to Amazon Kindle.Whenever you have any book in MOBI format, you can have a good reading experience on Kindle.
I hear that the Amazon Kindle is better, based on online reveiws and such.
The Kindle keyboard is better IMHO. The keyboard version has tactile buttons - instead of a touch-sensitive screen.
is a kindle fire better then a coby kyros
