Where two plates collide
Subduction happens when two tectonic plates are being forced together at what is known as a convergent boundary. When an oceanic plate meets a continental plate (or another oceanic plate that is younger and so hotter and less dense), the denser plate will be forced underneath the less dense plate and down into the mantle.
The sinking plate usually causes a deep trench to form in the adjacent ocean floor and oceanic trenches like the Mariana Trench are examples of these. The longest chain of subducting plate boundaries is that which rims the Pacific Ocean.
Subduction occurs between two tectonic plates, when they collide.
Subduction occurs where a oceanic plate and a continental plate converge. The oceanic plate is more dense, so it will slip under the continental plate, thus creating a subduction zone.
umm i don't see this on apex
Where crust is destroyed
Ap#x
It can occur in a subduction zone.

Photosynthesis occurs in the chloroplasts of plants and green algae.
Aerobic respiration take place in Mitochondria.Electron transport chain and Kreb cycle take place.
No. In a eukaryote cell photosynthesis will only take place in chloroplasts, which are organellesin the cytoplasm.
Photosynthesis occurs usually occurs in the leaves. It occurs where there is most chlorophyll.
Cellular respiration occurs in three main steps. The first step takes place in the cytoplasm of the cell. The last two steps take place in the mitochondria(or if cellular respiration is taking place inside of a plant then the last two steps would take place in the chloroplasts) of the cell. Specifically, the second step occurs in the matrix of the mitochondria and the last step occurs along the inner membrane of the mitochondria, or the cristae.
Where two plates collide
It is called subduction and only occurs in oceanic to oceanic or oceanic to continental plate collisions.
Trenches
subduction occurs where 2 continents meet or where the tectonic plates meet. :)
A subduction zone is a place that occurs between two tectonic plates. It is the site where these tectonic plates have collided.

subduction
When subduction occurs at points of plates collision.
Subduction occurs when an oceanic plate slides under a continental plate. When the oceanic plate does this, it descends into the mantle, and the place where the subduction begins forms a deep-ocean trench.
Subduction of the ocean floor takes place at trenches.

The Earth's crust is destroyed when subduction occurs.
