Mendeleev predicted that gallium belonged to the R2O3. Gallium was not discovered until 1874. The noble gases weren't discovered until 1894 through 1899.
Mendeleev predicted that properties of elements are periodic function of atomic mass. He demonstrated it by creating a table.
Gallium which had the properties that Mendeleev predicted
Gallium is just an element and as such it does not have either a good or bad nature, having a nature is a property of a thinking animal.
By placing the elements in order of their Atomic Mass then grouping them based on similar chemical properties, Mendeleev recognized that there were gaps in the pattern he made where elements should be. He predicted there were some elements yet to be discovered and predicted their chemical properties. The elements he predicted were later discovered and named germanium, gallium, and scandium.
Mendeleev predicted that gallium will be a metal.
The fundamental properties that Mendeleev predicted for gallium was that it would be a bright metal color and it would have a high boiling point. It would also have a relative density of 5.5 and an atomic mass of 72.

The close match between Mendeleevs prediction and the actual properties of new elements showed how usefullhis pariodic tabel could be.

Gallium which had the properties that Mendeleev predicted
Mendeleev had some empty spaces in his table. On being asked why he left spaces, instead of seeing it as a drawback, he confidently said that those were the places for "yet to be discovered elements". He named them by prefixing the Sanskrit numeral "Eka-" to the preceding element. For example, he named Gallium as "Eka-aluminium", Germanium as "Eka-Silicon" and so on. Later, when a new element was found and was named as Gallium, it was observed that it had almost same properties as that of Eka-Aluminium predicted by Mendeleev. As his predictions were almost accurate, other scientists began to accept that his classification was indeed better than any others'. And so, it was accepted.

A mixture of aluminum and an unknown element.
A: Because the element has different property as gallium arsenide.
