Which is better Final Fantasy 12 or 13?

While 12 did receive far greater critical reception, Vaan's voice is a deal breaker. Considering that every other game's hero is well likable and generally awesome, the fact that Vaan is annoying simply ruins the game. Thirteen is quite possibly the most linear game in existence, but the story and character development are unrivaled in any game I've seen.
