People talk graphics a lot, so let me say why Runescape has crappy graphics.

6.Stop arguing prices! WOW is designed as a paying game! You pay for the content, and every buck has to worth it, which is why Blizzard is pressured to do well. Runescape started as a free game, which will remain as a free game. You pay for more updates, so the game prices cannot be compared like other MMORPGs.

As you can see both are different, taking their own edge of corners. Both has their pros and cons, and both appeals to different age groups. You cannot say one MMORPG is better than another because of Graphics, engine or cost.

My vote is World of Warcraft millons people play it is more money cause its better!

my vote is runescape Ive seen pictures of world of war craft and i must say it looks even better than Call of Duty but that sorta graphics must require a hell of a computer making it even more money

RuneScape is better than WoW because it's cheaper in cost for membership. Also WoW is way too confusing to play. RuneScape has better minigames. $5.95 a month for Runescape membership and $15 a month to actually play WoW. WoW just wants your money!

Matter of personal opinion:

You don't play for the graphics in Runescape, you pay for the content. If Runescape were to make the graphics nice, they would have to take the WOW approach, putting the data in your computer, which defeats their goal as a web based game. Which makes WOW an unfair game, when someone got a better computer, as still pays. This make it more of an equipment then a skill issue. There is not a major goal in WOW, unlike Runescape. Skills are easy to train, given time, and money is hardly the objective in the game. You want a game that will motivate you to learn from an early age, the benefits of hard work.
