Well, there is not a clear answer. I personally believe that Macs are better than PCs. But my thoughts are different from yours.
The best thing to do is to go and play with a Mac and see if you like it or not. Go to apple.com and see the videos, specs and everything else you are worried about.
If you see that increases your productivity or creativity then go for it with not second thought...!
i personally say macs are better, because ever since windows 7 came out, dells are just trying to copy apple ideas. 1st, macs don't get as many viruses as PCs do. mac's have better graphics and can do more things PCs can't do, that they can't beat.
