Is mcafee secure search better than avg?

Both computer security software are good but it all depends on the type of computer that you are using, the operating system, and what you are using your computer for. I for one use AVG internet security suite 8.5. I have also used Mcafee Total Protection but, I have discovered that for my windows xp pro system running on Pentium 4 that, it tends to slow down my PC. So if you are a gamer or you like playing media related files, then you need something that doesn't slow down you PC performance.

I have developed a computer security system that ensures me safe internet use and a secure connection. I use multiple computer security software tools and techniques that keep me safe online without slowing down my system. Software and tools that you should consider adding to either mcafee or avg (when you eventually pick one) should be, but not limited to:

2. spywarebalster
3. malwarebytes anti-malware
4. winpatrol

This is really down to personal preference.

I would personally say no.

McAfee have a great customer service department but fail to deliver the service they promise. McAfee is known to cause conflicts occasionally with legitimate software such as internet browsers.

AVG is not known to cause any conflicts.
