It depends on what you are looking at.
In favor of the nook, it has a no-glare screen as well as a color touch screen. Also you can lend books to and from friends, and even borrow from libraries. The nook also is in the beta version of it's web browser, which will be immensely helpful when fully developed (still helpful now though). Additionally it has several tools, such as one to look up a word in an ebook you are reading, while reading it. To top it off, it has better memory than the kindle.
(Last editor did not ever use a kindle, may someone else re-edit to argue on it's point?)
I personally think the Nook is a better choice than the Kindle because first of all, it's touchscreen. And who doesn't like touchscreen?
Both have a no-glare screen so you can read outside with no glare, unlike LCD screens. Plus, battery life is up to 2 months for both on a single charge!(:
Next, with the Nook, you can borrow books from a library and even lend them to friends. I don't know if you can do that with a Kindle...
Although the Kindle came first and is more widley known than the Nook, the Nook is faster (and even comes with games!) I was deciding a few days ago between the two, and after I researched I decided to get the Nook. I hope this helped!(:
I hear that the Amazon Kindle is better, based on online reveiws and such.
No the nook color has better ratings but nook tablets are better yet
Kindle for sure it has more to offer than the Nook & the pricing is totally worth it.
Kindle because you can get more books for free.
The kindle is available at amazon.com and is very convient and comes in different sizes. Kindle is 4gb and Nook is 2gb. The Nook is available from Barnes and Nobles and much more expensive.
no simply no the nook is better because of its looong battery life and touch screen... i do not recommend the kindle what so ever it has a shorter battery life
Nook vs KindleOur cyber-readers line up:NookThe nook is better because of its looong battery life and touch screen... I do not recommend the Kindle whatsoever; it has a shorter battery life.
The Nook came well after the Kindle.
no kindle is much better and more user friendly
There are many differernce facets about the Nook and Kindle that have to be examined and anyone can put together an argument as to which is better for them. The pricing of the Kindle is a little less than the Nook, however the Nook Tablet has 1 GB of memory versus the Kindle which has only 512 MB. The Kindle is better if you want to purchase exclusively from Amazon, but the Nook is better if you are looking for a more universal experience. I have to recommend the Nook Tablet from my research and from everyone I talk to who has the Fire or Nook. I have placed a "Related Link" with more information from PC World.
Ok so I have a nook and a kindle so i would say that the kindle is better you can do so much more with it -stella
when talking about readablility the nook color is a little better because it has the sd slot which the kindle fire lacks of. However, when talking about sturdiness the kindle fire takes the win
