I would say not. You would be amazed to find out what industries have in tap water today. Its like dinking boiled ocean water.
Ocean water has a higher boiling point than tap water because it contains dissolved minerals and salts, such as sodium and chloride. These impurities increase the boiling point of the water by elevating the boiling point of the solution as a whole.
Lead and many other types of bacteria that can come from your lake or ocean water
Because there is much more salt in ocean water than in lake, tap or well water, the person will become dehydrated.
For what? If you mean, "Can you use ocean water for your swimming pool?" then, yes you can! If you were meaning to say, "Can you use ocean water for drinking?" then yes, you could use ocean water to drink if you like drinking salty water, or if you prefer tap water, you can have that instead. Please sign up on wiki.answers.com and tell me what you mean when you say, "Can you use ocean water?" :)Thanks! ;)
because salt is higher density than water and dissolves in the water, increasing density
Well if you do that it can be hard for them to survive because they are so used to the Ocean! I'd rather not do that!
