When atoms/molecules have a lot of kinetic energy, they move around with increased speed and we can call this "hot". It's not really the same as heat but it can be the same as temperature, in so many ways.

Equally if we take kinetic energy away from our atoms/molecules, we could say they feel cold and they are moving more slowly.

Equally, if we have a vacuum with nothing in it at all, we would also say that felt cold. The vacuum isn't fast or slow...there's nothing in it.

In a tooth-grindingly simplified way, hot = faster.

The question can be posed in a second manner, though; does hot travel faster than cold? In which case, they both travel at the same speed. Cooling something or heating something are both acts of transferring heat.

Say I heat up a spoon with flame. Quickly the spoon becomes very hot.

Now I dunk the spoon into icey water and it quickly becomes cold again. The cold didn't move into the spoon, because cold isn't anything, it is just the lack of heat. Instead, the heat from the spoon moved into the water.

Hot water flows faster than cold water because cold water is denser than hot water. Like in the ocean the cold water sinks to the bottom and the warm water floats to the top that is and example of how cold water is denser than hot water. Also, in cold water there is a higher viscosity than in hot water. In cold water the mollacules are closer together so it's harder to move around. Unlike in hot water the mollacules are farther apart so it's easier to flow. :)

Hot water runs faster than cold water because the molecules in hot water makes it go faster than cold water.

Why does your cold water have water flow but hot water has no flow?

It is a matter of density cold water is denser(compact) that hot water. thus cold water will flow faster than less dense(loose)hot water.

In hot water molecule were moving around faster so substances diffuse faster than in cold water.

Does cold water drain faster than hot water?

Yes, cold water can drain faster than hot water due to differences in viscosity and temperature affecting flow rates. However, the difference may be minimal and can also depend on factors such as pressure and pipe material.

The outside of a meander has faster water flow because the river current is forced to travel a longer distance around the curved outer bank, resulting in higher flow velocity.

Which freezes faster cold warm or hot water?

Cold water will freeze faster than warm or hot water. This is known as the Mpemba effect, which occurs due to a variety of factors such as evaporation, convection currents, and dissolved gases in the water.
