The differences between the original PSP and the slim PSP are mostly cosmetic. The UMD tray is no longer spring loaded, the memory stick slot opens differently. The two technical differences between the two that I can think of are that the slim doesn't include the IR port anymore and DOES include video-out capabilities. The weight difference doesn't hurt either, though I didn't really notice the size difference as much.
psp 3000 totally
no it is not but psp slim is easier to break and it has got a better software.
PSP slim has more memory and a better processor Apparently the psp slim has a better screen (but I can't tell much of a difference between my psp's). PSP slim is missing the IR port WLAN switch on the psp slim is on the top not the side. Less cluttered disk slot Memory slot on slim is slide out not door (but both are held by rubber joints) Elevated buttons (can't really tell) Better battery usage (true) USB charge Most importantly the slim weighs less and is thinner! Though it has less speakers.
Clearly, the PSP slim and lite (PSP 3000 has been out for some time now) is better then the original PSP. I would only recommend the PSP-1000 if you have a tendency to drop your PSP a lot since it has a metal chassis which the slim and lite does not have.
The two major differences between are: 1. Slim has better battery life 2. Obviously...slim is, well, slimmer =) -Rittyl
actually the psp 3000 came out after the psp slim but the only dfference i know is that it has better picture quality.
200 for slim (2000) and ultra slim (3000) but 170 for original
it does work
You must have a Slim PSP and the av cable for it.
All depends on how much memory is used but the psp slim is just a bit faster
PSP lite and PSP normal? You mean the Fat and Slim versions? The slim version of the PSP is a smaller version with a few additional features. As far as I know theres no "lite" version of the PSP, they can all do the same things. And the slim is messed up >.> \
On the PSP go you have to download games because there isn't a UMD drive, but on the PSP slim there is a UMD drive. If you already have a bunch of UMD's I strongly recommend getting PSP slim. But if you don't have any UMD's your best bet is to get a PSP go. PS ----> I hope this Helped!
