The Oxycodone 30 IR have approximately 28.936 MG of Oxycodone. The Percocet 10/325 have apporximately 8.6 MG of Oxycodone. So yes, the 30MG Oxy IR are way more stronger. Plus the Acetaminophen in Percocet really lowers the dosage of the 8.6MG you're already getting.
hcl means it is straight oxycodone with nothing else like tylonal added. apap means it has tylonal in the mix and also 30mgs is 3 times stronger than 10mgs i think you know that LOL.
Oxycodone hcl 30 mg, is an immediate release pain reliever, primarily designed for treatment of chronic pain, usually prescribed as a supplement to extended release pain relievers. The hcl is an abbreviation for hydrochloride which is the medium of suspension of the oxycodone. Oxycodone apap 10-325 is a mixture of oxycodone hcl and what the apap stands for acetiminophen. If you have chronic pain and require a high dose of a narcotic pain reliever you will generally not be prescribed this kind of medication since overtime the acetiminophen can reak havoc on your liver. This is however, a nice version of the the oxycodone apap mixture since it is the lowest dose of apap you can get in an oxycodone pill.
Oxyxodone 5mg hcl has no acetametphen were percocet 10 / 325 has 325 milagrams of acetamdephine OXYCODONE comes in 5 10 15 and 30 percocet comes in 5/325 5/500 7.5 /325 7.5 /500 and 10 /325 Oxycontin comes in 10 20 40 60 and 80 mgs
Yes it absolutely is. Oxycodone is percocet. It is basically 3 times as much. the only difference is is that the 30 mg is plain percocet and has no tylenol. The 10 mg 325 apap means it has 10 mg of percocet and 325 mg of tylenol. But 30 greater than 10 by 3. SO I hope that helps. you would need to take 3 of the 10 apap 325 to equal the 30mg. But be careful of the tylenol it can kill your liver in an instant and you can die a very painful death in less than 48hrs. There's nothing they can do for that, aside from a transplant. Sorry don't mean to freak you out but people need to know the dangers. The maximum dosage of tylenal you can take in 4 hrs is 1000mg the most you can take in 24rs is 4000mg. But its safer to stay well below that because the damage to the liver can occur even without the high levels, depending on your body type. So if you had 3 10mg 325's you can take that at the same time for a 4 hour period but you would only be able to do that 4 times a day. Good luck.
Oxycodone Hydrochloride (HCL) is the generic name for OxyContin, which is the timed-release version of Oxycodone. Oxycodone apap 5-325 is the generic name for Percocet 5/325, or Oxycodone 5mg with Tylenol (acetaminophen) 325mg.
OxyContin, while the same effective dosage as Oxycodone, is designed to last 12 hours, where the Percocet is only good for 4-6 hours. OxyContin's effectiveness will drop over time as you become more tolerant, lowering the effectiveness time by almost 4-5 hours.
For Percocet, the added Tylenol component does help, though again, the biggest difference between the two is the time factor. OxyContin is generally prescribed for chronic pain patients who haven't yet required the jump to Fentanyl Patches (Duragesic), where Oxycodone is prescribed for shorter term, acute pain usage.
Oxycodone 10/325 is the generic version of Percocet, which is a combination of Oxycodone & Acetaminophen (Tylenol). The number 10 is the amount in milligrams of Oxycodone in the pill; the 325 is the amount in milligrams of Tylenol in it.
Oxycodone hcl 15mg is Oxycodone Hydrochloride 15mg's, with no other drug mixed in.
oxycodone 5-325 apap is the generic for the medication Percocet 5. The 5 represents 5mg of oxycodone hcl and the 325 represents 325mg of acetaminophen (Tylenol). Other strengths include 7.5-325 and 10-325. The 10-325s are the best due to the low amount of Tylenol (bad) and high amount of oxycodone hcl (good)
The tablet with the M in the square and/or 05 52 or 5 on the other side on the top half of the hyphen is the same as the oxycodone apap 5-325. The only difference is that the 325 in the apap tablet is acetaminophen or Tylenol. The tablets with M on them can be injected whereas the 5-325 can be taken, crushed, snorted but not injected because of the Tylenol in the tablet.
No, these have the same amount of oxycodone, and thus would be about equivalent in strength, with any difference in analgesic effect coming from the APAP. However, preparations containing acetaminophen (APAP) can cause liver damage if taken in excess.
No question the 15 Mg.
oxydodone 30 mg is alot stronger
not even close..
yes, some brands are stronger than others.
vicodin contains hydrocodone, percocet contains oxycodone. hydrocodone is weaker than oxycodone.
Vinegar contains acetic acid, which is chemically a 'stronger' acid than carbonic acid. hence making it stronger than carbonic acid.
Is hair spray stronger than Hairgel
one is percocet; the other is the generic of percocet 5mg/325mg acetaminophen. they have the same chemical make up of oxycodone(5mg) and tylenol/acetaminaphen (325mg). APAP is an abbreviation for acetaminophen
Everyone is different , but generally oxycodone is better.
Technically, no. The active ingredient in a Watson 749 is 5mg oxycodone and 325mg apap. I'm assuming you're referring to a 512 pill. Some people say one or the other is stronger, but it's all preference.
no
not even close..
yes
Lortab and Vicodin are both forms of hydrocodone. Oxycontin is the controlled-release form of oxycodone. Oxycodone is stronger than hydrocodone.
not even close..
Yes, much more so.
Lortab is the brand name for hydrocodone and acetaminophen (tylenol). Hydrocodone is not the same as oxycodone and oxycodone is much stronger than hydrocodone. Oxycodone drugs include OxyContin, Percocet, etc. So a simple answer, oxycodone is stronger.
yes, some brands are stronger than others.
yes Oxycontin (oxycodone) is definitely more potent than percodan
