Bass fretboard is different from electric guitars, as it is usually made from different wood, plus it doesn't have the same size, also the frets used are completely different, so if you are thinking about changing your fretboard by recycling an old bass one, you should think again. Anyway, you should ask a luthier about it if you want an specific fretboard and he will guide you better, NEVER try to change it yourself if you have no experience, because you will make a crappy sounding sh*t, and that is if you are lucky, most chances are you will screw both the guitar and the bass and will spend more money on fixing them.
If you pinch or "pluck" the guitar string then let it go (based on how far away you let it go from the fretboard), you will get a "slap" effect. This is where the string "slaps" against the fretboard to give it a sharp twang before resuming a vibration. This is a classic effect often used on bass guitars, though there are different methods of doing this. One of which is to sharply knock the string into the fretboard and very quickly pulling away with the side of the thumb so that the string can still make a decent vibration.
Jimi Hendrix was probably the best person to ever pluck the strings of a guitar, but play with his feet, nope never happened. He was known to play with his teeth and behind his back.

If you mean a capo clamp, this is used to place the open chord at another location along the neck (transposing) if you lack the skill to perform full fingered chords. It does not make it sound differently unless the clamp bring the strings closer to the fretboard, making it a low action guitar and easier to make mistakes (fret buzzing), though much easier to perform advanced fingering techniques.
Hello. A few steps can always be taken. 1.) Make sure your guitar is in a controlled environment in terms of humidity. Too dry and the wood will dry out and crack. Too humid and the wood will expand and warp. 2.) Always use a soft cloth when cleaning a guitar and never use anything abrasive. Try to find a "lint free" cloth. Also, an old cotton t-shirt can be used. 3.) Use an approved guitar polish for the body and always apply the cleaner to the rag first, not the guitar. Use a soft circular motion to apply the cleaner and then gently wipe it off. 4.) Don't forget the fretboard! Use a fretboard conditioner whenever you change your strings. Conditioner helps keep the fretboard from cracking and keep the proper moisture in the fretboard. 5.) Whenever done playing a guitar, you should always try to wipe off any fingerprints from the body, tuning pegs, etc. The oils on your fingers can cause corrosion over time. Try to wipe down the strings too. Just a quick swipe of a cloth can keep your stings lasting longer and sound better. 6.) A good can of compressed air is always good too to get into those tight spots. Use short bursts of air to get dust out of small right spots. Be sure to keep the can straight up when pressing the trigger. 7.) Finally, be sure to store your guitar properly. ALWAYS keep tension on the neck by keeping the guitar in tune. I use those wall "hangers" to store my guitars. Make sure too they are stored out of direct sunlight or not placed a location where the temperatures change often, i.e. by a door or window.
The Guitar is a stringed instrument in the lute family. Usually having 6 strings, they are plucked or strummed to cause the strings to vibrate, producing sound. The length of the string (and resulting vibration) is changed by pressing the string against a fretboard (fingerboard) which changes the pitch. Guitars are used to produce music in many a genre and are produced in many variations to suit.
