Bass fretboard is different from electric Guitars, as it is usually made from different wood, plus it doesn't have the same size, also the frets used are completely different, so if you are thinking about changing your fretboard by recycling an old bass one, you should think again. Anyway, you should ask a luthier about it if you want an specific fretboard and he will guide you better, NEVER try to change it yourself if you have no experience, because you will make a crappy sounding sh*t, and that is if you are lucky, most chances are you will screw both the guitar and the bass and will spend more money on fixing them.
