No doubt that amd turion x2 is better than athlon x2. So, I would suggest you to go for turion. But I want to know if core 2 duo is better than the turion x2. Any suggestions.
depends what its in the turion is a mobile processor so if ur gettin a laptop get the turion, if ur gettin a desktop get the athlon
You have to provide the RAM of the second laptop as well. But according to the information you have provided the quadcore is faster because it has 4 processors.
Depends on it's processor speed, graphics card, and processor type as well.
high speed of RAM and processor can better support to laptop gaming.
athlon
i recently got a toshiba A505 series laptop for $850 shipping included (usa). its really nice (i5 gfx dualcore processor 500 gigs hd and 4 gigs of ram. not quite good enough for gaming although i can run a couple of better games (borderlands, driv3r) on low settings. hope that helps
The Acer by far. It has more RAM, a better hard drive, a better processor, a better touchpad, a better brand, and as a bonus: a card reader. Go for the Acer.
I use AMD Athlon everytime I use my PC that I built with the AMD Athlon II X3 450, and I also use AMD Athlon everytime I use my sister's Toshiba Satellite Laptop, or my mom's Compaq laptop. So in short, I use AMD Athlon whenever I'm using a computer that runs off an AMD Athlon which, by the way, are many.
I would recommend an Intel i7 core, but that's just me. I would think that an AMD Athlon IV core would work pretty well, as that's what they list on Blizzard's website. So, yes, go for AMD Athlon IV.
This does not make sense
it wouldn't be pretty
The Turion series is designed for laptops, and thus consumes less power while producing less heat, the Athlon series is a desktop class processor, and thus consumes more power and produces more heat. For a laptop, I would recommend the Turion, but the Athlon will be slightly faster at the expense of very poor battery life.
