Fishing cats. They live in the jungle and their claws do not retract.
No, only the gray fox has retractable claws.
Foxes are the only members of the canine family that have semi-retractable claws (a feature belonging to felines).
No, Lions like most other wild cats and even our house cats have retractable claws. Cheetahs are the only cats with semi-retractable claws and they also lack claw sheaths making the claws appear to be sticking out more. A few other cats like the Fishing Cat has retractable claws but lack the claw sheath, so it may look as if the claws are always out...

Most cats claws retract automatically. It takes force for them to protract. So most cats actually have protractable claws. The fishing cat (front feet), cheetah and Onza are the only cats whos claws do not fully retract and sheath.
According to my teacher Mathieu Sneddon they do in fact have retractable claws... but i do not think so because i have been attacked and they did not indeed retract. I still won though the lion had no chance!
only feline without fully retractable claws and the fastes animal on land.
Felines. Retractable claws are found within the suborder Felidae however not all members show them. The Cheetah, for instance, is a prominent member who claws remain out at all times. Other more obscure members, like hyenas, do not have them either.
Cheetah have semi-retractable claws, this helps with traction when they run. Most cats have fully retractable claws. There are only three other cat species with semi-retractable claws.Cheetah cannot roar. But they do purr and hiss. Most large cat species are excellent climbers. Cheetah are not.The Cheetah is the only living species in the Genus of Acinonyx. Though, there are subspecies.
Lions have retractable claws to protect them so they always stay sharp. A lion's claws will only come out when absolutely necessary and stay within the paws when they don't need them.
They are always visible because they are only semi-retractable.
