Chlorine water. Normal fresh water is good and it cleanses your eyes. But chlorine water is fine as long as there's not to much in the pool your eyes may sting and go red afterwards so just splash them with fresh normal water
Yes. Chlorine Water Is Harmful To The Human Eye ..Or Any Eye. That Is Why We Wear Goggles. If We Don't Wear Goggles And Go Under (Chlorine) Water , We Best Keep Our Eyes Shut So No Water Runs In Them.
No, it makes your eyes sore.
Mixing a chlorine solution with any acid has the potential to release chlorine gas, which can be fatal if exposed to enough of it. If Chlorine gas comes in contact with water, or a mucus membrane (such as your eyes, nasal passage, or lungs) it will form Hydrochloric acid.Chlorine IS a GAS, at standard temperature and pressure [basically, normal ambient atmospheric temperature and pressure]. Chlorine gas mixed with water makes Hydrochloric Acid. IF one dissolves as much Chlorine into water as the water will hold, then one has created Concentrated Hydrochloric Acid [better known as Muriatic Acid]. Therefore, if trying to mix Chlorine gas into Muriatic Acid [Concentrated Hydrochloric Acid] the result is that the gas will only "pass through" [bubble through] the already fully concentrated liquid acid. Yes, there will be gas released, but not from any kind of chemical reaction, only by bubbling through, because the the concentrated acid can/will take NO MORE Chlorine gas.
Wash your eyes with pure distilled water. Continue washing until vision returns to normal and/or go an hospital , emergency department(A&E) and advise them what chemical splashed in your eyes. they will initially given you 'chloramphenicol' for your eyes.
You can shock the water with the appropriate chemical. You can also pH the water to make sure that the other molecules are in proper ratio. Bottom line you want a balance with the acid and base such that the pH of the water will not irritate your skin or eyes.

High chlorine is not a factor depending on combined chlorine numbers....Combined chlorine should be around 0.0-2.0...if these are high, then your chlorine could have harmful effects such as red eyes or skin irritation....so it all depends on that number...also make sure that number is from a reliable source...
Because of the reaction of your eyes to ocean water or chlorine. The salt water can affect your eyes in a bad way. If your eyes are open in the ocean for too long, you could die or go blind. In a pool, the thing is chlorine. Your eyes are sensitive to the chemicals.

ionisation system stay in water whereas chlorine evaporate into the air, Chlorine irritates the skin, the eyes, and the respiratory system.
A salt water pool has a chlorine generator on it that turns sodium chloride into chlorine gas. The water in the pool is not like the ocean, you can't taste the salt and it doesn't sting your eyes. The water isn't as harsh on clothing, eyes, skin and hair as chlorine is.
Bungee goggles are goggles that prevent chlorine in the water from getting in the swimmer's eyes.
Wash them out with water from the sink.
well i guess your eyes could water but do you get what your fingering wet. if so is it the odor from your bottom that is making your eyes water
Really! Why does this happen? (Btw actual question)
