As Wikipedia says, Ponta do Pico (2,351 m above the sea level) is the highest mountain in Portugal, the Azores, and the highest elevation of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge.
One of the highest underwater peaks of mid atlantic ridge is Dom João de Castro Bank volcano, which is at azores, and rises to approximately 13 meters from sea level. Of course, Azore islands itself are even higher mountains, and as already answered, Iceland's highest peak is also highest of point of MAR. Personally I find underwater peaks very interesting.
