The point at which the clavicle and the scapula connect is a joint called the acromioclavicular joint. The acromioclavicular joint.
limited by the position of the clavicle joint at the sternoclavicular joint
I think acromioclavicula joint degenerative change with marrow edema involving clavicle of the joint means ---the AC joint shows signs of artritis with swelling/inflammation of the Clavicle joint itself. The acromio + clavicula are actually two joints that connect for rotating (gliding) function of the shoulder. This is my best guest and I'm no medical professional.
Bones that are involved are the sternum and the ribs.
The skeletal system.
The Acromion Process of the Scapula meets the clavicle to form the Acromioclavicular Joint.
AC joint (Acromion Joint) SC Joint (SternoClavicle Joint)
it is arthritis in the shoulder joint, the collarbone (clavicle), the shoulder blade , and the arm bone . The scapula and clavicle form the socket of the joint The humerus has a round head that fits within this socket. The end of the scapula is called the acromion, and the joint between this part of the scapula and clavicle is called the acromio-clavicular joint, or AC joint. When this joint wears thin, it is called acromioclavicular (or AC) arthritis.
The point at which the clavicle and the scapula connect is a joint called the acromioclavicular joint. The acromioclavicular joint.
The medial end of the clavicle forms the sternoclavicular joint. The lateral end of the clavicle forms the acromioclavicular joint.
gliding joint
The proximal end of the clavicle attaches to the manubrium of the sternum. This joint is called the acromiovlavicular joint.
The acromion process of the scapula articulates with the lateral end of the clavicle. This joint is called the acromioclavicular joint.
The clavicle. This bone is normally not consideredto be part of the shoulder an instead a part of the thorax, which is also true. The reason it is part of the shoulder is that it joint part of the scapula to form the soked of the glenohumeral joint.
The lateral ends of the clavicles articulate with the acromion processes of the scapulae. This joint is called the acromioclavicular joint.
The joint between the lateral end of the clavicle and the acromion process of the scapula is the acromioclavicular joint. This joint is sometimes abbreviated "AC joint."
The acromion process of the scapula articulates with the distal clavicle. This joint is called the acromioclavicular joint.
