Shift
The shift key on a computer has more than one use. The shift key is used to enter upper case in text as well as some other upper characters. It is also used to perform certain functions in Windows.
The Caps Lock key or the Shift key can be used to type upper case letters. In Microsoft Word holding Shift and pressing the F3 key can change existing text between various cases.

The Delete key deletes characters to the right or in front of the cursor. The backspace key deletes characters to the left or behind the cursor.
