It's possible her correspondence was in the New York World, instead of the Herald. Edith Rosenbaum did contribute news items intermittently to the Herald but at least one war-related article written by her, detailing the use of canines by the military and the Red Cross, appeared in the World in 1917. This article was widely syndicated, appearing in the Kansas City Star among other publications. Two of Edith's original letters, penned during her time in France during World War I, survive in a private collection.
