Silver Cross coach built prams have been manufactured in Yorkshire since 1877, and they continue to be built there to this day, although no longer in Guiseley where the Silver Cross factory once stood. Silver Cross now builds the Balmoral Pram, Kensington Pram and various Doll's Prams (Baby Balmoral, Insignia, Oberon and Toy Rose) in Bingley, near Bradford, using the same machinery and tooling that was previously used at the factory in Guiseley (near Leeds). Long may the tradition of hand-built Yorkshire baby carriages continue!
