....on an automobile it is a 12 volt DC motor. the electric cooling fan is driven from this type motor.....
A capacitor start motor is used in a ceiling fan.
single-phase induction motor is used in ceiling fan.
The motor used in a table fan is usually a shaded pole motor.
Computer cooling fan
Single phase Induction motor
Induction motor
Synchronous motor or induction motor
It is on the drivers side of the motor connected to the fan belt. You have to lift the motor approx 2 inches to remove it
electric
No its not from the fan motor, its from a stepper motor, which controls air flow to the drivers side footwell. The linkage for the motor breaks, and causes the clicking noise. There is a updated linkage peice that can be installed.
Could be a faulty fan motor, a faulty fan motor relay, a faulty fan motor temp switch or a blown fan motor fuse.
it is in the fuse panel under the hood. Located on the drivers side.
