what objective use to focus a microscope
Adjustment knobs are used to focus light in a light microscope.
First focus the microscope on the lowest objective using first the coarse djustment knob and then the fine adjustment knob. Once you have it in focus, move on and do the same for the next highest objective. Continue this process until you reach the highest objective and focus it in the same fashion.
When focusing the microscope downward, you take the chance of damaging the expensive objective lens by crushing the slide trying to get it in focus. By first eyeballing the objective lens and adjusting it very close to the slide, and then moving the objective lens up for the correct focus you're safe.
start with the lowest objective then adjest your focus. After, switch your objective if needed going from lower to higher
To focus the image, you have to move the object you are studying closer to or farther from the objective lens.

Coarse focus on a microscope is used only when you are using the lowest objective lens. You use it to get the object magnified mostly. The fine focus is then used to adjust the resolution to the viewer's eyesight.
