if your talking about like getting the flu (because that is a viral infection) then i would say C- taking vitamins. using the flu as an example: taking antibiotics doesnt necessarily work. this is because most viruses mutate so fastly and frequently its hard to make an antibiotic for it, which is why there isn't a medicine to take for the flu just for the symptoms of the flu. and even antiseptics are the same, unless they have a specific one for that virus (which usually its only for the symptoms of the virus) its not gonna help.

and for getting vaccinated- they vaccinate you with a weak strain of a virus, and there are many strains of the flu (which is what they do for the flu shot) and there is always a very small chance of getting sick from the injection itself. they do this because then your body fights it off and stores memory t cells so when you get sick from the virus your body can fight it off fast.

the best thing to do is take vitamins to boost your immune system and keep it healthy and working. i drink emergen-C which gives you different types of vitamins. whatever your body gets to much of you will just pee out anyways and it wont affect you.
