Lake Michigan. =========== In actual fact, none of the Great Lakes is entirely within the US, and there really are only four Great Lakes. What we call Lake Michigan and Lake Huron are, hydrologically, just one body of water with two large lobes.
None of the five Great Lakes is entirely within Canada. Canada shares four of the five Great Lakes with the US. Lake Michigan is entirely within the US. Hydrologically, however, Lake Huron and Lake Michigan are one lake, which has two large lobes. As such, there are really only four Great Lakes, and all four are shared between Canada and the US.
Lake Michigan is the only Great Lake entirely within the US. The other 4 great lakes are on the border.
The five lakes you are inerested in are the Greta Lakes. Only Lake Michigan is entirely in the US. Lakes Superior, Huron, Erie and Ontario straddle the US/Canadian border. There is a sixth lake in the group (St. Clair) which is considerably smaller, it is also on the border.
