Massachusetts passed a law in 1648, which allowed a parent to put a stubborn or rebellious son to death. The law has since been repealed by the legislature.
I only received stubborn resistance. The stubborn donkey allowed no one a boarding pass.
The "plantation colonies" allowed slavery. Those colonies were Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and georgia.
Soap in the 13 original Colonies was made of animal fat and lye. The lye and the animal fat were boiled in water and then allowed to cool in bars. Fat was sometimes skimmed off the top to make candles during this process.
upper house only
The colonists in charter colonies were allowed to elect their governors and both Houses. Colonists in the royal and proprietary colonies were only allowed to elect the Lower House, not the Upper House and governor.
